THE BLACK FRIDAY FAQ | RECORD STORE DAYRecord Store Day was conceived in 2007 at a gathering of independent record store owners and employees as a way to celebrate and spread the word about the unique culture surrounding nearly 1400 independently owned record stores in the US and thousands of similar stores internationally. The first Record Store Day took place on April 19, 2008. Today there are Record Store Day participating stores on every continent except Antarctica.

Record Store Day will take place in April each year, and RSD Black Friday will be happening! The list of titles that you can request is OUT so check it out at their site recordstoreday.com .

IF YOU HAVE A TITLE YOU WANT US TO CARRY, YOU MUST REQUEST IT! The best way to get through to us is by phone or send an email to belltowerrex@gmail.com , since we sometimes miss social media messages or comments. We can't promise it will be here for you and we cannot hold it for you, but we order based upon requests--the rules are available at recordstoreday.com .

You can see the rules and terms of RSD at their site: https://recordstoreday.com and lists for the available titles will be posted there. No holds allowed, and only one title is allowed per customer, as per RSD rules. Releases are only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
